St. George Island - One Last Hurrah

Spent the weekend in St. George Island after the doctor gave us the go ahead for one last trip before the baby comes. We enjoyed our time with my grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins on my mom's side. Elizabeth has officially been grounded for the month of August as we are on lock-down in Atlanta until our little crumb snatcher joins us.

5 year old cousin, Emma, with Elizabeth. Emma provided much needed practice and lots of 5 year old "wisdom" about a new baby.
Pyramid. Great idea...really enjoying the misplaced discs in my back.

Cousins, minus a few.

Who's the wise guy?

Everyone's a comedian.

Georgia Peach

On our way home from St. George Island we stopped in Fort Valley for some ice cream and a visit to Lane Southern Orchards - home to some of the best peaches, strawberries and pecans you'll find on the planet. Featured on The Food Network and the Travel Channel on numerous occasions, Lane Peaches definitely did not disappoint.

In other news: just a "short" 5 and a half weeks to go!

31 1/2 Weeks

Elizabeth's not really pregnant. We went to the sporting goods store and she Winona Rydered a basketball.

Blue Light Special

Either Elizabeth swallowed a big blue light bulb or we've got too much radiation in the house.

T Minus 10 and Counting...

Just a shade under 10 weeks to go!! Here's an updated picture. We made the mistake of telling Biscuit we'd take him to the dog park, but detoured into the backyard for a quick picture. When you tell Biscuit it's time to go to the park, he freaks. Runs in circles, barks...typical can't control himself dog stuff. But in the midst of his freak-out session, he decided he'd get in the picture too. He ran to Elizabeth, sat down, I took the picture and he then resumed his freak-out. He never misses a photo op.

Here's to hoping these last 9 and a half weeks go quickly and smoothly!
